Our Academic Mentors (AM) empowers students to reach their full potential through educational, social, and cultural mentoring.
Our mentors provide weekly tutoring sessions—both one-on-one and in small groups—focused on core subjects including math, language arts, science, and reading. In addition to subject support, AM offers homework assistance tailored to individual student needs.
Serving as a vital link between schools and families, Academic Mentors communicate regularly with parents and guardians, sharing student progress and updates. We work closely with schools to assess student performance and develop personalized learning plans that strengthen core academic skills. To further enrich the learning experience, students and mentors participate in engaging enrichment activities and educational field trips. These experiences are designed to spark interest in STEM fields, support career exploration, and build skills essential for future workforce readiness.
